I have the privilege of leading worship for a friend of mine this week. I’ve known the student pastor, Ric, for probably 20 years. It is really cool to be able to look back at how dumb we were in high school and be able to minister to students now. I’ve led worship at this camp 11 out of the past 12 years.
It’s always a joy. We have seen incredible life change. God has moved in tremendous ways with this student ministry. As a matter of fact, Ric invited 2 other churches with them. One of the other student pastors is a former student of Ric’s.
I’m excited to see what happens this week.
We are at Camp Bob Cooper. My Charlotte friends know this place as Camp Paradise.
Lucky me. I get two weeks of this place this summer…
