A couple of days ago I was reading some tweets. This is my daily obsession it seems. I can't seem to stop reading what some of these great thinkers are sharing. I was blown away by Max Lucado recently.
Set from last night 's Backstage…
I was reading some blogs this morning and came across this post by Mark Batterson. Check it out here!
My check engine light came on a few weeks ago and like normal, I panicked. For some reason, I hate going to get that stuff checked out. I am too afraid that it will be something major that will cost an arm and a leg. I actually drove around for 4 weeks before getting it checked. I made every effort to pray it away, cover it up with my hand as I drove, anything just to avoid. Well I finally gave in and took it to the shop to get it fixed. Turns out that the place that changed my oil did not reset the meter. So it was simply reminding me of an oil change. Nothing major at all!
That reminds me of our spiritual lives. How often do we see signs of needed change yet go about our business as usual? Many times we avoid stopping and evaluating our relationship with Jesus. Of all relationships, isn't that the one we need to keep up?!
It is easy to lose our focus in this world. Everything is competing for our affection and attention. We must be intentional!!

Well this week has gone by really slow yet really fast! I was finally able to see my family after almost two and a half weeks of being apart from them. I never like going without seeing my fam.
I was able to lead these kids in worship. They responded very well. I am always pleased to see young kids worship Jesus. I think we could all be blessed by watching the “little children” come to the Lord.
Anyways, lots to think about. Lots to do.

I don't have anything to say really. I just needed to update the blog because I was tired of looking at the Michael Jackson thing every time I opened the website.
